Hi, I’m Megan, Physician Assistant and Health Coach with a Certificate in Complimentary Medicine and Wellness, helping busy adults build sustainable health habits that stick
As a Physician Assistant in primary care, I see firsthand how many people struggle with their chronic diseases, stress management, sleep, obesity and weight issues - often feeling lost after their diagnosis. While healthcare providers care deeply about their patients, the reality of busy clinics means there often just isn’t enough time to give the in-depth education that patients truly need.
That’s why I became a health coach.

My Story
Once Upon a Time…
I graduated from Physician Assistant school full of excitement and purpose - ready to help people live healthier lives. My first job in family practice was everything I thought I wanted… until the overwhelming stress took over me.
As the years went on and I wanted to have a family, I could see my work-life balance slipping away. I was working long hours, bringing work home, and running on empty. It wasn’t the life I wanted to start a family in.
Leaving that job was one of the hardest choices I’ve ever made. I loved my patients, my coworkers, and the work itself, but I knew if I didn’t take care of myself, there might not even be a future for the family I hoped to have.
The Change I Needed
I took a short pause - went to Europe, and even attended a wedding in Italy that was magnificent. That trip gave me the reset I didn’t know I desperately needed.
I came back, returned to work, had my first baby, and learned what it really meant to juggle motherhood and medicine.
My Own Health Struggles
I was also struggling with something I had never experienced at this level before - debilitating migraines. I’d had headaches and migraines for years, but nothing like this. Over time, they became so intense that I got injections in the back of my head just to get relief and prevent them.
I tried abortive and preventive medications—some helped—but like so many of my patients, I didn’t want to take a daily pill for the rest of my life. So, I started focusing on my biggest triggers:
• High stress
• Not enough sleep
• Not enough water
That was a huge turning point for me. Even as a healthcare provider, I had to face the fact that if I didn’t keep my own Four Pillars—nutrition, movement, stress management, and sleep - in balance, my body would let me know in a big way.
Then The Pandemic Hit
Then the pandemic hit, here comes a new high stress. I was pregnant again and sometimes working in nursing homes during one of the scariest times I’ve ever seen in healthcare. The stress was nonstop, it was a sad time and for my health and my baby’s, I stepped away. That choice was different, it weighed heavier on me—but deep down, I knew it was the bravest thing I could do.
Blessing In Disguise
That time away ended up being a blessing. A close family member went through a serious health crisis, and I was able to be there for them in ways I never could have if I’d been working. It brought me back to why I became a PA in the first place—to truly care for people, without rushing, without distractions and with love.
When I eventually returned to medicine, I worked hard to protect a healthier balance. But I couldn’t ignore how broken the system felt—insurance limits, strict office protocols, and packed schedules meant I could never give my patients the time and education they deserved. I knew that when people really understand their health, they feel better, have more energy, and are less stressed. But in the traditional office setting, these important conversations were always cut short or not even happening.
That’s when I discovered health coaching—and realized I had found the missing piece.
Health Coaching is finally giving me the opportunity to spend time truly educating and helping!

I realized it could bridge the gap for people who leave doctor’s visits feeling confused, overwhelmed, and without the answers they need. As a health coach, I can give the time, education, and personalized support that transforms health—not just for today, but for the long term.
At home, I’m raising four children with the same philosophy I bring to my clients: that small, daily choices matter. We talk about nutrition, sleep, movement, and managing stress—my Four Pillars of Health. We dance in the living room for fun, sneak extra veggies into dinner, and practice deep breathing when the day gets overwhelming (and yes—sometimes my kids are the ones reminding me to take a breath).
I’m not perfect. I still have my gummy bear weakness. But that’s real life. Healthy living isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up every day, making better choices, and getting back on track when you slip.
My Four Pillars of Health
Over my years in medicine, I’ve seen the same struggles come up again and again. And I’ve learned that when all Four Pillars - nutrition, movement, stress, and sleep - are in balance, people feel better, think clearer, and have the energy they need to truly thrive.
Today, through Radiant Health by Megan, I combine my medical expertise with compassionate coaching to help people take control of their health, manage chronic conditions, and create a life they love. I’ll be your guide, your cheerleader, and the one in your corner reminding you - you can do this.
Because everyone deserves to feel vibrant, confident, and in control of their health.
We all deserve Radiant Health.
Official Bio - The Short Version
Megan Hryckowian-Mazur, is a board-certified Physician Assistant and health coach with over a decade of experience in family medicine. She’s the founder of Radiant Health by Megan, where she helps individuals with chronic conditions take control of their health through her Four Pillars of Health - nutrition, movement, stress, and sleep.
After years in the medical field, Megan saw the limitations of rushed appointments and one-size-fits-all advice. She now combines her medical expertise with personalized coaching to bridge the gap between traditional care and the ongoing support people need to thrive.
Megan lives in Michigan with her husband and four young children. You can often find her cooking healthy meals (while sneaking in extra veggies), having dance parties and doing crafts with her kids, enjoying the outdoors as a family or a (rare) quiet moment with a cup of tea - with the occasional gummy bear in hand.
